Pick a day.

I'll be back this weekend, but I would like to take a day to pull together D&D characters. I'll probably be back next weekend too.

Side note to Vlad. The prologue hooked me but damn if there aren't a lot of characters in the first 3 chapters.

Alright.

Saturday the 14, just for good luck. Kick off at approximately 1400. Location TBD.

I'll bring my electric grill along so we can have some toasty sammiches as well. Though the idea of tasty kabobs charcoal grilled does have some appeal as well.

Wilf, is this appropriate for you? You are the keystone of this operation?

Hmm...twin blessing tonight. Webisode of Bakemonogatari got raws and .ass out and my twin 1/2" square fiberglass cores are in. Hmm...3' blade, 6" 2ndary handle, 4" crossguard, 11" primary handle, and 3" pommel should do...5' feet total. Cool, flex shouldn't be a problem. Sucker might hit like a truck though.

The pacing and name dropping pretty much settle in by that point on. PREPARE FOR EPIC.

For Crepes, do we have a potential spot to host?

Yeah, once the King shows up all the name dropping is done.

And it is getting EPIC very quickly.

We'll talk this weekend. I can see where some of these characters are heading (Danys, Arya, Jon), its some of the others (Bran, Tyrion, Eddund) that I'm looking forward to. It'll be interesting to see who's King at the end of the first book.

By the way. Direwolf animal companions, Fuck Yeah!

Oof, is the 14th set in stone? If so I won't make it.

No story details please. Will has not read them yet. I'm giving him the books when he comes back on Thanksgiving.

Thank you.

When Will reads then we can fangasm when the HBO special comes out.

As usual, I'm willing to host if there is no other. Bring DVDs and stuff :3

Dragon Age: Origins is pretty awesome. Bioware s back to DnD-esque RPGs. Good set of characters to boot. It's certainly not afraid to kill you if you aren't on your guard. The bloody characters in cutscenes are a hoot as well. If only your party could be larger...4, is better than 3, but it's pretty rough covering all the bases.

Anyone up for some ctf or similar at Discovery Park this Vet Day?
